Synonym:
Andropogon zizanioides Urban. Andropogon squarrosus Hackel. Andropogon muricatus Retz.

Family: Poaceae (Gramineae).

Description:
Grass chronic high can reach 1 meter. Stems soft, beruas-segment, white. Single leaf, forms a ribbon, pointed toes. Midrib hugging stems, green color whitish. Perbungaan grains form at the end of the rod. Fruit rice, barbed, dirty white. Roots including root fibers yellow. Roots used parts and essential oil.
